Bio:

General Ben is drums, nylon-stringed guitar, and a voice. They live and play in Minneapolis.

Brett is a Tilesmith, a student at St. Olaf, and a local session drummer.

Luke is a Land Surveyor, a Janitor, and a former music student at the U of Minn.

General Ben met in Fall of 1999 when Luke followed a girl to a gig Brett was playing. Luke liked the way Brett played, so he asked him to join a band that he had with Ryan Pitman. Their common interest in music and Final Fantasy VII formed a friendship that lasted beyond that band. Brett went on to find success in electronic music, and Luke continued to pursue a music degree.
In the Summer of 2003 Luke and Brett produce a six-song (later five-song) ep titled At Ease. In the fall of 2004 they produced an eight-minute ep titled Two Player Mode. We have tried having a bass player, but currently they are very happy with how their two-player mode sounds.

Luke just bought a house in the Williard-Hay neighborhood of Minneapolis. It has a carpeted room in the basement. So that is where they make music.
