February's mix is a combination of leftover tracks from '07 that never really found a place and new tracks from some of the first good albums of the new year. The music doesn't really start flowing after November until the spring, but we're doing OK. I know what you're thinking. "How many mixes is he going to start off with Why??" Answer: all of them. At least until David Bazan puts out a new album or Karate knocks it off with this Glorytellers business and gets back together. But seriously, if you're not devouring everything Why? puts out, you're as DTM as Javon Walker and Roy Halladay. Enjoy.
- Why? - The Vowels Pt. 2
- Gnarls Barkley - Run
- Cat Power - New York
- No kids - Four freshmen locked out as the Sun Goes Down
- Scout Niblett - Kiss
- Chet - Very Old Story
- Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings - Let Them Knock
- Emily Jane White - Time On Your Side
- The Owls - All Those In Favor
- Hayden - Lonely Security Guard
- Stephen Malkmus - Real Emotional Trash
- subtle - unlikely rock shock
- Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton - Sprig
- Yeasayer - 2080

So, I'm guessing the 411 related stab at non-Why? fans was directed specifically at me since I'm probably the only person for whom that joke would be a.)funny and b.)relevant. I stand by my choices.

Hehe actually I didn't even think about that until a few hours later. It wasn't meant at you. Looks like it though. Bethany got it. I just hadn't made a Javon Walker DTM post and thought I might sneak it in.
