Looking forward to the weekend

Yesterday, somebody was walking down the sidewalk, facing away from me, while I was driving down Hennepin on my first trip at 7:30am on the 6 line. There was nobody in the bus stop, so I wasn't planning on stopping. Just as I was passing her, she whipped around and starting waving her arms at me. It's the third stop on my first trip, so it's approximately 15 minutes before the passengers get to me and I start holding little things against all of them (Ever had a cranky bus driver? It's because a third* of you are idiots). Because of this, I hit the brakes hard and stop about 50 feet down the block and wait for her. You'd think I'd hear a "thank you" or at least get a smile and a "hello" right? I get a big nasty glare instead.

Tonight a guy yells at me "what's wrong with the air?" It's 70° F, and the sun is down. Sometimes they're funny, and sometimes they're annoying, and they always seem to come in sets.

Anyway, I get a three day weekend, and it can't come fast enough. I'll be spending saturday riding my bike to Hayward, WI. 132 miles at 15 mph of nobody but me. Nice.

The good news is my fall schedule is decent. I get off at 6:30pm every day and my split shift falls at a good lunch hour. It's long enough to bike home for a sandwich, but short enough that I don't have to get up in at 5:00 am. I'll see you all on the 2 and the 53.

If this post sucked, it's because it's been a week and I haven't had anything to say, and I was tired of Barry Bonds being the top post.
