Today I picked up a guy who sat down in the seat closest to the front of the bus. He looked at me and said "You're on time." I looked at him and he was sitting there with a giant wily, wink-wink grin, the kind of smile some people make when they're being euphemistic and want to make sure you're getting their drift. "Know what I mean?"
"Yes, I am."
"I thought I was going to have to wait five minutes…" He paused and the grin came back. "Know what I mean?"
"Uhm…"
He was quiet for a couple of minutes. "It's hot today." Grin. "Know what I mean?"
Here's a picture of the largest island in a lake on an island in a lake on an island.

"wink, wink, nudge, nudge"? I would have been laughing for hours.

There's a reason we call that seat, "closest to the front of the bus", the peanut seat.
