Eliot is now 16 mo. and learning new words all the time. Among her favorites: cheese, shoes, juice, and dog. The other day I was lying on my bed while she ran around and played with whatever she could find. She suddenly stopped, looked at me, and said in clear tones "Douche!" Neither Bethany nor I ever use the word 'douche', so she mostly isn't saying douche. I decided to play along anyway.
"Who's a douche, Eliot?"
She points at me.
"Hey, I'm not a douche"
She rolls her eyes, "yeah."
