Heroes! If you have any sort of penchant for superheroes, that is. I have no idea what is going on with the plot and I love it.

If you start at the beginning, The Shield is pretty good "B" grade entertainment. Not so sure about the last few seasons.
If you've missed any of these shows on DVD, all are highly recommended for watching from the beginning:
Deadwood
Sopranos
Babylon 5
Buffy
All obvious, but all worth the time if you skipped one of them.
God but I love the telenovel approach to tv!
