I've got my money on the gas

What will be higher at the end of the summer, Kyle Lohse's ERA, or the price of gas?

Today I picked up my hairdresser. When I say 'my hairdresser,' what I mean is the guy who has done 100% of my non-self-buzzed haircuts since i was in elementary school, which is to say he cut my hair once about a month and a half ago. (He did a great job, by the way - Jeff over at Michelle a few times in, like/2002. Sometimes I see people I know walking to their cars that they parked in surface parking lots in uptown. Losers. They don't know what they're missing.

There this drunk guy who spoke exactly like Tommy Chong (except with short hair and mutton-chop sideburns) on my bus tonight. He pointed at my bag, draped over the farebox, and started talking about the Soviet Union, or the "CCCCP", as he put it. "Hey, man, do you remember Rocky III? How about Rocky one?"

Hey Ryan, I found a bike for you and one for Bethany too if you want them. Yours would be a black Schwinn World and Bethany's a small ladies Murray 10spd in blue. Both need some work, but totally servicable and you could be cruising in no time. If you want to arrange for me to fix 'em up or hook you up with some parts, we can work that out too. I even deliver :) -Jen

ryan:

too cool. thanks jen

you picked J and I up a few times in 1993 too.

ryan:

oh yeah! i totally forgot about that. you guys don't count as friends that ride the bus because you ride the bus (in boston) ; )

Elizabeth:

Hey! I used to ride the bus all over Minneapolis and Saint Paul! But I do not think you were ever my driver. You stopped your bus in front of Pizza Luce once to yell at me walking on the sidewalk, though.

The buses in Milwaukee are muy expensivo, offer poor routes and all have televisions looping commercials! Yuck! I need to get back to a city with good(er) transit.
