Good ol' Nicollet

I picked up our friend Heidi today. I suppose, since I have weekends off and was out sick on Monday and Tuesday, that makes two straight days that I picked up somebody I know. Pretty hot.

I picked new work for the summer operator's choice. I lost the weekend. Oh well, one more summer of missing the 11 line 7pm to 10:30pm.

I think Puck deserved to be in the hall. It clearly isn't just about the numbers (Pete Rose anybody?) it's about how important a given player is to his team and how he represents the game of baseball (personal life notwithstanding). Puck was a waaaaay better pure hitter than Torii will ever be—a lifetime .318 hitter iif i'm not mistaken. Plus the man was clutch. He may "only" have hit 25 home runs in the average season but is seemed like every last one counted. He was the kind of player that you just knew was going to come through, and more often than not he did. That's why he deserves the hall more than anything.

Torii is definately more athletic and arguably a better defensive player though.

Doesn't that argument put Lew Ford in the hall?

I'm not saying he was a bad player, he was a great player for sure. He did a little of everything. But nowhere near the best. And where's Bert?
