Some kids like cartoons

This morning we woke up way too early (8 o'clock) to go to a birthing class. It consisted of a few videos featuring a lot of vaginas with heads sticking out of them and a lot of education from a lady who apparently has figured out that if she talks really slowly she can take two hours of information and stretch it out to a seven hour class, thus three-and-a-halfing the income. That two-hours-worth was nice to learn, though. We have an idea of what to expect now, and got to see some random cute kid in the nursery. Afterwards I worked for six hours. I picked up a guy who talked about his Creative Zen for two minutes and WWF for 20 minutes. It rained a lot. It's been a long day. Tomorrow I plan to sleep in, go buy some chips, make nachos, drink beer, watch the Vikings, turn it off midway through the first quarter in disgust, and maybe bring myself to do something useful.

Oh yeah. Did anybody else notice we had a tornado watch today? And it's supposed to ice/snow/rain for the next three days now? I had a very elderly woman on my bus who said she's lived in Minnesota her whole life and was absolutely shocked to see that lightning today, in the midst of November. Seriously, just when you think the weather here can't get any weirder... oh my beer's finished. Goodnight.

I'll bet you didn't turn off the game midway through the first quarter in disgust today!

hells no. that game was sweet with a capital s

you've had a lot to say since I last read. I still can't belive that Pat Robertson thing. Some people should not be allowed to talk.

you've had a lot to say since I last read. I still can't belive that Pat Robertson thing. Ok, I almost wrote that some people should not be allowed to talk. But then I was thinking about free speech. Obviously P. Robertson is a nut. But we let him say what he wants anyway. When is the line drawn?

ryan:

well for starters, ABC family could pull the plug on his show instead of broadcasting it three times daily.
