Maybe we'll put off any east-coast trip for a little bit. It sounds like they're opening a couple of Muji stores in New York by the end of the year. Who knows how much kids stuff has (if Daddy Types doesn't know, I don't know), but even if it's just what they have on the UK Muji website, I'm pretty much stoked. Eliot got New York in a Bag and the 16-piece animal puzzle blocks for her birthday this year from the UK Muji online store. We threw in the greatest deck of playing cards ever and a cute flipbook since we were paying shipping anyway. The toys are really great, natural wood, good modern design, and really really inexpensive. Right up my alley.
