A Not-so-amusing, but typical tale and photos.

This is kind of a not-cool story, but there seems to be something quintessentially "Rural Minnesota Youth" about it. Maybe you folks who grew up in Kamloops can relate?

Here's what I see on a regular basis:

Many years ago, I was riding the bus home from work on 35W going south from downtown. It was winter, and dark out. Some kids on an overpass dropped a huge chunk of ice that went through the windshield and hit the bus driver right in the face. He had the presence of mind to pull the bus over to the shoulder. His glasses were broken and his face was pretty badly cut. Of course, by the time the police arrived the kids were long gone. It obviously could have been a lot worse.

So, it isn't always rural youth. But it is always thoughtless and stupid.

So by "those folks who grew up in Kamloops," you mean??

Nice to "see" you.
